Suck in dead poll mode!!

Trying to tune my lmm duramax, but my V2 was not recognized, so tried to update it now its stuck in dead poll mode (alternating orange lites). Please help.

Dead poll mode means the V2 is waiting for you to flash in the firmware.

When I hook up my V2 the computer its says its not in "dead poll mode" but the V2 is flashing like its in dead poll mode.

You need to use V8 HAPI to flash, not the EFILive Firmware Programmer. What bootblock do you have? Open up V8 Scan & Tune, then click the V2 icon that appears next to the windows clock. Click F6 Firmware, then if you need to update the bootblock do that, then program the firmware.

Ive been working with ATP trucks and we tried everything, they have found out that my V2 is not responding properly and needs to be sent back and hopefully fixed. Thanks for the response

What firmware version did you upgrade from...?

If it was 2.4.xx then there's a specific procedure for doing this.
