I have a 2001 corvette ls1(350) engine and automatic 4 speed transmission that i am going to put in a 95 s10 truck witch i have read it will work with a new wiring harness and some computer work but is there any way i chould put a ls7 zo6(427) camshaft in a ls1(350) engine????? If so is there anything else i need to buy for it to work properly??:Eyecrazy:

It is not a direct swap. The cam position sensor is in a different spot. Probably just as easy to buy a new cam.

Gen 4 V8 camshafts,

won't go into Gen 3 for the above reason. Though Gen 3 cams will fit into a Gen 4 as long as they are fitted with a 3-bolt cam sprocket.

If you want a decent factory cam, the 2002-2004 ZO6 cam (204/218 .550/.547) would do a good job for your engine swap and a ZO6 tune file from the tunefiledepot will have all the important bits needed.
