New ECM new credit?

Hi, I have a 01 Z06, recently I bought a new ecm, the seller send me a 2002 ecm, the OS is 12593358 and my old OS is 12202088 I tried to reflash with my older bin, and I cant, I need to buy more efilive credits for reflash the new pcm?

Hello AleZZ,

EFILive licences the individual PCM / ECM / TCM - you are not required to licence each individual tune you wish to flash (like HPT requires). Once you have licenced the PCM you may flash it as may times as you want, with any compatible tune file you want.

In your specific case, the "new" PCM must be licenced for use with your EFILive cable. Your "old" PCM that has been licenced for use with your EFILive cable is licenced to you for life - so unless it is defective - hang on to that PCM for future use in this vehicle, or any other you may build / tune.
