I'm learning how to use the road runner on the bench since its so cold here and I figured once I get this figured out I will be set for some tuning when the snow melts. the issue I have right now is I can open a OS such as a 2001 ls1 camaro and when I down load to the RR seems fine until I unplug the pcm.

Now this might sound dumb but is there a way to save the tune in the pcm? I cant use the ALDL as it comes up as locked when trying to connect.

The RR is flashed via USB not OBDII (or ALDL).

A bench harness will not work.

how do I write the tune so that it stays in the emulator when power is removed? or is what your saying about the bench harness is that there is no way to when PCM power is removed

The RR will retain all programming even with power removed.

USB is all you need for programming. Don't even plug the bench harness in
