2002 Camaro 408 SD 4L80e (the Car)

Guys fortunatly I have had great luck with you guys helping me out so here I go again.

Car was t56 recently converterted to 4l80e. Car has a 4L60E harness with a Speartech adapter on the end of it to convert the wires over. Car has new engine and runs fine for a startup tune and drives. Trans does not shift but I have not done a segment swap. 2 reasons 1 I dont have a 4L80E COS#5 and I have read all up on this and apparently to get the trans not to come out of lockup you can just use the 4L60E setup.

Does anybody know exactly what has to be changed in a normal 2002 auto program to run the 4L80e with a 4L60e program. Any help would be great. As always thanks so much to all of you guys.

Do you have to put relay or resistors anywhere for the selenoid issues???

Basically:
- the 2-3 shift solenoid signal needs to be inverted (using a relay);
- the TCC PWM has to be driven differently (driven by TCC Enable or gated using a relay);
- the 3-2 control solenoid signal is discarded.

JoeCar thanks so much for the links. I don't care weather or not it has the locking issue like the other guys complained about. This is 95% race car so a Segment swap might be alot easier for me.

I don't have a 80 file to work with. Do you have a 80 file that will work with this COS5 that is in the car.

Thanks so much

Heres the tune I am working with 12549

You have COS5 with OS 02020005 which is based on OEM OS 12212156...

there are a few 12212156 4L80E files, see these threads:

I don't remember, but you may have to do the transmission segment swap on the 12212156 file, and then upgrade it to 02020005.

BTW: you need to fix your out-of-range tables/parameters.
