View Full Version : DTC and MIL Fault Processing tables not accessible in 2010 and up T43s

We are trying to turn off the U0100 MIL/DTC fault processing in a 2010 TCM as well as a 2012 T43 and neither of them allow you to even see the Transmission diagnostics. Is this because the tables changed and EFI Live can no longer access them?

We tried to force full reflash the 2010 Escalade T43 back to the 2009 *179 operating system since that lets you edit the DTC and MIL stuff and it programmed it but now when reading the tune or scanning it complains about an incomplete operating system.

Thanks in advance for any ideas on this.

Hello Whypave,

The 2007 to 2009 T43 controllers are generally mutual compatible - that is, they may be programmed with 2007 to 2009 OS despite the trans model year. The T43 controller changed in 2010 (except Camaros). A 2010 Escalade T43 is incompatible with a 2009 OS flash - and may be fatal to the controller.

The question still remains, why can't we get into the tcm diagnostics?

Because we haven't mapped them out yet.
