Did better than I thought I would! I got four passes in before I decided to call it quits. I did two sets of two - the first two were with a mild tune running stock wastegate settings (both boosted launch) and the last two were running the same tune with increased main duration and a boost fooler allowing me to hold 40psi at WOT (one boosted launch, other not). I never hit 1500* on the exhaust temp, but I could definitely feel my transmission hating that I was having fun :D

First run, boosted @ 5psi:
R/T - .559
60' - 2.184
1/8 - 9.698 @ 69.83
1/4 - 15.508 @ 82.88

Second run, boosted @ 5psi:
R/T - .381
60' - 2.171
1/8 - 9.586 @ 72.14
1/4 - 15.290 @ 82.73

Third run, non-boosted:
R/T - .682
60' - 2.385
1/8 - 9.616 @ 75.07
1/4 - 14.919 @ 91.34

Fourth run, boosted @ 5psi:
R/T - .650
60' - 2.130
1/8 - 9.324 @ 75.31
1/4 - 14.555 @ 92.81

To those who are into racing this may not seem like much but to me it's a huge improvement. Last year I ran the truck with just a muffler delete and intake with a best pass of 16.3 @ 81mph, and since then I've added the lift and 35s with the only new performance mods being an S&B intake elbow and EFI. I datalogged my runs so I can see what's going on to improve upon them for the next time, but I have a feeling I might want to do studs, transmission and a turbo first. I'll have videos later. This is how the truck sits, I didn't do any weight reduction... in fact I left all my junk in the toolbox.

That's cool man! I'm the same way too. Drive her up to the track and run what ya brung. I get a kick out of people who pull all their crap out..it makes it all the more sweeter when I make it back to the pits FIRST to watch them spend 20 min putting their truck back together and junk back in it.

Don't forget, there comes a time when just rollin' in with what ya got doesn't cut it.

Sometimes it takes a few to get ready.

nice times! i'd like to go to the track with mine but dont want to jack the trans up. "trying" to make it last as long as possible. will probably have it built the end of this year/early next year. i never took anything out of my duramax when i raced, how bout it rich...

This was my first run of the night, uploading the last one right now. I really need to practice my reaction times, but that's only the second time I've ever been to the track.

leave the line when the third light lights up. your not gonna have a killer 60 ft with the stock trans holdin u back, but u can get rt down some. still good times though

I could definitely feel the stock transmission holding me back, when it would to go shift from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th there was lag time between when it left the last gear and when the next gear engaged. Once I get studs and a transmission I'm sure all I would need is a turbo and I could easily tune it into the low 14s possibly 13s, I just didn't want to get crazy since I had to drive it home. My fastest run was maxing out at ~2600us.

There were two Powerstrokes that ran down the track once, both looked and sounded stock, the 6.4 did a boosted launch and the 6.7 didn't. The 6.4 won with a 15.9 and the 6.7 lost with a 17.5.

nice improvement for just some tuning. I'm sure you know but,do get that turbo before you keep adding fuel. That's how I blew my motor, lack of air

id say with a trans and some more fuel (us), you'd have high 13,s covered

Here's my last, and best, run of the night. After examining the datalogs I saw the truck wasn't getting into my top end parameters... I would hit 3,200rpm and max out around 134mm3 or it would run around 3,000rpm and max out at 145mm3 and my timing was 5* below what I wanted, so I'm sure with tweaks I could improve it with the current setup.
