V2 won't come out of demo mode

I've tried registering it, has all the license info in there and it just doesnt do anything. How do I get it out of demo mode so I can play with tunes without have the unit hooked to my computer?

No it doesnt...there are some features that aren't visible unless a V1/V2 is plugged in but you can edit 98% of the tables without having it connected to your computer. If you have to have it connected to save tunes then you need to follow Andrew's advice in post #3 and enter the registration details correctly.

Where do I enter these details...I have them, when I pull the help/register window up it already has the details?

I have the card...when I go help/register the window pops up and it already has the info. Still not registered.

I know I'm bringing this back from the dead but, I couldn't figure out how to send you a pm or email so after searching the forum you told someone to register the product commercial. I works now without having to plug the v2 in.

did the registration.txt file format change a while ago. i keep getting a prompt telling me im in demo mode when i dont have the v2 plugged in, but i still have edit capability.

Nope no changes to file format But the latest version when installed performs an uninstall of the prior version so it is possible (not test myself) that the License.txt file might be removed and then created fresh (default) when the new version is run for the first time.
