2012 Sonic Turbo Tuning

Hey guys, I was just wondering if this was available yet. If so what build software should I be using to try to open this stuff?

No not yet sorry Alvin, reason being is GM did an ECM change in 2012, well, 'sometime' in 2012, so I need to rewrite the E83 bootloaders to handle both ECM types. Currently there is no tuning active for the E83 because as it was if you tried to flash the later ECM would have resulted in a no start situation.
We just got a 2012 ECM here a week or so ago to get it sorted.

If you do get a chance to read a Sonic that would be appreciated, I am not sure if they may have been released with both E83 types or just the later one. Though thinking about it, the Turbo model is an E78 if I recall, the NA motor is the E83. Given it's the same engine as the turbo Cruze (which is E78) I am sure it's an E78.

I don't think so, I haven't seen a Sonic Turbo tune yet.

I'm trying to find someone in my area (Central Iowa) who owns EFILive to take a read and send it in. From everything I can find, this car is using the E78 on the 1.4T just like the Cruze.

Hopefully I can find someone soon unless you guys can your hands on it first. I'm really fiending to tinker with my Sonic more :)

Do you guys still need a 2012 Sonic 1.4T read? Someone on another forum claimed you now had some E78 and E83 reads in hand.

I've been struggling with finding/connecting with a local EFI Live owner to get one.... but if you don't need one anymore?

Thanks Gimpster, we are good with reads on E78 & E83. Should be completing mapping for those up to and including 2012 models within a week or two.

I saw you guys have 2012 Cruze added to the latest release, but is Sonic supported yet? I'm ready to hand my money to someone :D

I haven't seen an actual Sonic file yet, however, based on what the GM CalID website is showing it's using the same OS as the 2012 Cruze, so it would be supported.
