I have been having issues with my truck for a while now, did a new LB7 CP3 and LBZ regulator along with my new II turbo, then we found 3 injectors be to be bad, replaced those, truck felt great for about 3 hours, then started to feel sluggish, dynoed it 2 days after I got it back, made 523 which I understand is about normal for my setup, but it feels sluggish now?? I changed tunes and it felt great again but same thing it was short lived. I am going to try to reset TAPS later tonight and see if that works??? Any ideas?? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am very close to just getting rid of it and buying a 1500 with a 5.3 no issues!!! :frown:

I have noticed that in my log I only see 20* minjt but my tune shows 24.8-32.8 in that range on my injection timing base C table?? What could be limiting me?

how old is the fuel filter, did you try changing it? try logging desired fuel pressure vs actual, this should give you an idea if it is fuel related. did you rescale the LBZ regulator?
i don't think that resetting the TAPS will help. resetting the TAPS will just reset the shift time back to factory settings and may make it shift funny for a little while. if you do, take it easy on the transmission until it settles down.

add your main timing C to your pilot timing D and see if it is being limited by {B0921} injection timing max

Can I log Crank and cam sensors with EFI? My timing is being limited, could it be possible the crankshaft pos sensor can get a screwy reading and act like this???

with your scan tool, connect to your ECM. press Shift & F2 to check for supported PIDs. if it is supported on your rig then they will show up in the PID tab (F8) without the x on them.

Had the engine harness swapped and it isn't limiting main injection timing or main injection fuel flow anymore, at least not up top? It runs alot better but I am still thinking something isn't right??? Anyone care to look over these logs and see if anything looks screwy??
Thanks!

Only thing I see now is B0805 is referencing 6.1-11.9 cells, and when I use an older log where my baro is 14.6 it references the 14.2 cell which is 1.
This my B0805 with my sensor reading all over the place.
13092
And this an old log when my baro was staying at 14.6
13093
Can I just make these values all 1?

looks like it should be running good from the logs. are you blowing a lot of smoke or is it more of a haze?
rail pressure seems to be holding. good boost, maybe a little outside its map, but still high for a stock turbo. PW seems about right, 3000~31xx, for about 500 hp.
the only thing that looked funny to me was the PW & mm3 dropping back down when you hit 80 mph. and going from 9 mph to 58 mph took about 5 seconds. mine can do that with less PW.
check [B0747 max fuel quantity vs speed], TLIQ & base torque for starters. oh, one other thing that doesn't look right, why is your baro going from 3.6 to 12.8/ should stay fairly consistent with altitude. how is it plumbed in? should be reading outside air pressure, not connected to any of the intakes, etc.

Not stock turbo it has an II Silver Bullet S366, it has no drivability and it rattles a lot, it was suggested that I shim my FPRV, I made 494/956 without it and went 12.65 @ 105 with my stock turbo, but about 3 months after it started to feel slow, I thought maybe the CP3 was weak so when we installed the new charger I got a reman CP3 with an LBZ fpr and it was snappy for about 1 day then it started rattling, and feeling slow and has been doing it ever since, seems that if something is disconnected or Everytime I reflash it it feels fast for a short while until I start to hear it start to get rattley...

you saying the engine is rattling or the turbo?

Sounds like the engine to me? Sounds more like a power stroke than a Duramax?

Baro is open to the atmosphere it's on the drivers side used to be on a bracket but it broke so I zip tied to the harness

the rattle is what worries me. if the Baro is reading low it will run on the high altitude timing map which may rattle some at lower altitude. it could be fuel related too. try coping Timing map C to Map B and Map A and saving it to a new file. see if that take care of the rattle. right now the logs show the Baro & Boost having the same slope, boost and baro go up and down together. this will alter the timing. double check the baro sensor and also, as silly as it may sound, make sure the the harness connectors are not swapped with another or something like that

check out one of my logs. boost goes up to 34 lbs, baro stays at 14.6 lbs. something is not right with your baro sensor.

Ok, found the rattle culprit, I had a boost leak. Drivers side lower boot was leaking, bought a PPE boot and its 100% better, as I log it and watch mm3 it sometimes goes to 126.9 or higher but sometimes when you lean on it it shows only up to 98mm3 or so?

Any luck on figuring out the issue? I could look at the tune for you if you would like?

Seems better now, but I still notice the commanded mm3 will be say 120-124mm3 and it achieves 98.3mm3? is it just on its way up? I do see 126.9mm3 as my max now. Seems like it gets to 126.9 and then slowly falls off? Not sure if I'm ok now?? Anyone want to take a look at my logs for me?
