Datalogging lockup and freezing

Has anyone experienced freeze ups or lock ups while recording a datalog? This is only occuring when I record (the red button) but works fine when I monitor (the yellow button).

It will freeze or lock up and then go back to working and then freeze up again and then work and so on and so on.

I've noticed that too. It seems to only happen when I record long data logs. I figured it was where I've got 3 groups selected and it's too many PID's or information it's trying to record. Maybe somebody will chime in that has a good explanation.

I haven't had any problems with recording, but have had problems with monitoring. The last few times I have tried to use it, it hasn't worked. When I push the yellow button it immediately freezes, and I have to push the red button, then cancel, to get out of it.
