Well hello to all,
I am new to the board and to using efi live i have a flashscan v2 and i am working on a 57 chevy with a l92 and 6l80e .
current problems,
car will surge without touching pedal
transmission downshifts with little application of pedal
we would like to get the car to sit still if you let off the brake without your foot on the accelerator it will still surge and accelerate without provocation
engine and trans were out of a escalade ,
i think the engine and trans thinks the car is a escalade that weighs 6,500 pounds+
when the car actually weighs 3,000 so i tried loading a stock auto camaro tune and it wont let me it keeps saying the operating systems arent compatible
also the tab for reflash with operating system modification doesnt light up when i bring up the factory camaro trans tune.
is their a way to copy the data from the camaro trans tune to the current tune thats loaded in my trans so i dont have to change the operating system
or if there is some way we can fix it .
Thanks in advance for anyone who can help with our headache,

No no no, you HAVE to stick with the OS your vehicle is wired for. If the stock ECM/TCM is from an Escalade, then LEAVE the Escalade OSs in there.
Is it a stock engine/trans? Sounds like you need to tune the idle first.
Its an auto trans, the car will move forward if you pull your foot off the brake. I dont know of any vehicle that stays still with an auto trans.

What year is the Escalade drivetrain ? Are the engine and transmission from the same model year ? Did you rework the factory wiring harness, or order a custom harness ?
2007 - 2009 Escalade need brake input to both the ECM & TCM, 2010+ the brake input goes to the ECM only.
Any modifications to the engine ?
Post your ECM & TCM tune files.

Taz

And i bought the harness from a guy in florida ,
he worked on the car at ls fest in ky but its not right
he played with idle .
i also know cars move when in drive when you take off but it takes off like your touching the pedal

When you log in to reply click the "Go Advanced" button at the bottom of the window ... then click on the attachments icon (paper clip) ... follow the prompts to upload your tune files ... once uploaded, click on the insert button.
Also, list any internal modifications to the engine. Are you using an Escalade TB (throttle body) and APP (gas pedal) ?

The engine tune is far from stock ... even the base injector flow has been modified. Is the engine stock or not ? If not, list all modifications.
The transmission tune has had at least some (didn't look at the entire tune) of the torque management disabled ... not recommended for the 6L80 ... works better with TM active.

By stock TB - you mean from the 2007 Escalade ? What MAF are you using - LS2, L92, or card style ?
Regards,
Taz
EDIT: Are you also using the Camaro MAP sensor ?

OK ... didn't have sufficient information .... had to assume you were using a Camaro MAP and Escalade TB .... no idea what MAF - so those values remain unaltered.
Attached is the Escalade tune you posted reworked for a 2010 Camaro intake, injectors, and MAP. The idle parameters were returned to stock - as you are using a stock L92 long block.
Hopefully it is a step in the right direction ...
