A couple of questions about the AutoCal

Hey guys,
Just got a couple of AutoCals in for resale but I have a couple of questions.....

As far as software updates are concerned, can the end user simply plug the AutoCal into their computer and perform updates? Or does the device have to be sent back to the retailer? Same question as far as vin licenses go also....

And tunes, we can email tune files to a customer and they can load them onto their AutoCal correct?

They are updateable just like the FlashScan, same procedures apply to both devices. Upgrade bootblock/firmware then copy the latest config files over. I believe they can also purchase more VIN licenses as well (up to 8 or 9 per AC unit).

Yep, just make sure you save the tune file for Remote Flashing. Have to have your V2 plugged in when doing this, it embeds the V2's serial # into the tune file. Email it to the customer, they copy it to their AC, then flash it in.
