Guys wanted to see if anybody has the answer for this.
2007 Silverado 408 TURBO.
OS 12597120
There is obviously no COS I can use on the truck OR is there. Can it be swapped out to somehting else.
We really need to 2 bar this truck so we can get some Fuel Transisition going.
Can I run a 2 bar sensor and cut the MAP table along with the VE in half basically making 100KPA only 50KPA. So that at 100KPA I would have 200KPA for real???
Has anybody ever tried this?

That is how it used to be done before any 2bar solution existed. I know out here in Australia it worked ok, well, better than as it is, but this was also on cable throttle cars, I don't know how it would go on an ETC car.

I tuned with the modified map scaling on a turbo 8.1 running 14lbs. The resolution and mid throttle transitioning left a lot to be desired. The computer for whatever reason would only run open loop with the 2004 cos for that pcm. Hence the return to stock os and modified map. I then went to a 2005 8.1 os and went cos5 with no issues. If possible I'd suggest trying a 05-06 os and using th available cos for that earlier os. Is this an ls1 pcmb, or an e38/67?

Its probably an LS1B 1MB PCM because E38s can do 2.5Bar on factory OSs.
Good point though, I dont know what platform changes occurred between 05 and 07, but there are a few COSs for 05 trucks...

Have you thought about reverting to a slightly older os which offers COS functions? The only thing that sucks is the copy paste functions of all the tables.

i think you might have to go with a 05 gas pedal and tac module, then flash a 2005 COS
