"E37 Vats disable help"

I'm trying to do remove the vats on a 2008 E37 2.2 ecotec. I'm able to read the tune and apply the vats patch and do a calibration only flash. The icon for a full reflash is empty I cannot click on it. If somebody can please help I would greatly appreciate it. thank you.

Plug your FlashScan into your laptop before opening the tune file, then try full flashing.

I was able to do a full reflash of the tune. But it still will not turn on. There is no CMP signal, all of the other sensors including the ckp are reading fine. I checked all of the wiring harness and there seems to be no problem. I used an oscilloscope to check the sensor and apperently the sensor is ok. I even got another sensor to make sure it wasn't the sensor and no luck at all. I have a 2007 ecotec 2.2 from a malibu, the computer is from a 2009 ion 2.2. Will there be a problem with the year difference of the motor and computer?
