Anyone running methanol? I have a LS1 with a S480 turbo and am switching to methanol. Looking for any pointers.

Straight methanol no,
Meth injection in boost yes...

I will be running straight methanol, have ran meth injector before but never straight.

I run E85/M60 & M100 on 2.2L Ecotec engines.

Make sure your o-rings (fuel pump module, orings) have been swapped out to something like Buna-N rather than the OEM Viton units.

Tuning the fuel is very similar to E85. I actually run the same timing numbers for both with our flexible fuel vehicle research. There is a lot of safety factor built into alcohol fuels and I have yet to actually get knock before seeing a large decrease in power output. Which means you'd hit the point of diminishing mileage & power long before the engine goes BOOM.
