Ever since downloading the software with the trans files, I get error 602 - PCM programming error. I uninstalled and re-installed the software and updated the bootloader, etc. I get the code every time. Everything works fine. I figure it is vin not being programmed into pcm. Any thoughts??

It's probably due to the handheld tuner you had in your ECM.
If you read through the guide shown below it tells you how to fix the problem.

I don't have the option to upgrade. Do I need another OS?

You may just have an older version of EFILive installed, try upgrading to the one shown in the thread below.

I know this is stated in the guide, but may have been easily overlooked. Make sure your V2 is plugged into the PC whilst you're applying the patch to fix where your previous tuning suite did not fully return ECM back to stock..then enjoy you're new favourite REAL tuning suite. Sorry Ross, couldn't help myself!
