Well, I have had it with these injectors and cant seem to get starting just right. I have varied every table possible that controls the starting aspect of the fuel tables and can find a happy medium. The previous injectors were (supposedly) flow tested and assured to match the specs of a 2002 Camaro injector even though it has a Ford part number XF1E-A5B and crosses to a Bosch 028155849.
I think I am at the point where I want you guys to help me pick a set of injectors that would help solve my issue. I do need EV6 style injectors
My setup:
383 internal balance
Mercruiser MPFI ported
Ported throttle body
Iron 64cc vortec ported and polished
Long tube headers Hedman 69490
Comp Cams XFI 280 hydraulic roller, Comp Cams Magnum hydraulic rollers
Cam specs:
Operating Range: 2000-6000 RPM
Duration Advertised: 280° Intake / 288° Exhaust
Duration @ .050'' Lift: 230° Intake / 236° Exhaust
Valve Lift w/1.6 Rockers: .576'' Intake / .570'' Exhaust
Lobe Separation Angle: 113°
Shifting at 6000 and last checked I was hitting 87% duty cycle but couldn't reach the commanded 12.2 AFR. I was getting 12.8 or so at that RPM.
Let me know what you guys recommend!!
Thanks!
