View Full Version : abs light on how to check wheel sensors?

can efi see the wheel sensors or is this a tech 2 thing? Just came on tonight after getting on it alittle..tires didnt even break loose. Have a feeling its the rear sensor since the gear and sensor are out in the open.

oh used scan tool and no dtcs were set.

First, in scantool, goto Edit->Properties->Advanced and checkmark the box labelled Check/Clear DTCs for All Modules.
Click OK to exit the Properties box.
Then, exit the scantool and restart it, and now read the DTCs.

Still no codes I reset it and the light back on again.

Well now it went out lol. Maybe something just got on the sensor and it went off /shrug

Just filled up and pulled out could feel the abs working and now the light on again. Wonder what's going on

Hmmm...
Do you have access to any other scantools...?
AutoZone can loan you a scantool that reads ABS codes.

Well think I found the problem. Either mice were eating my abs wiring or it pulled apart from being to tight. Going with the mice part myself lol. Another part to get see if that works
