I just received my EFI Live setup and installed on my laptop. I'm assuming I data log the tune that's in there first and then work from there (tune is from Shane at PDW). So what now? Is there a link so something for complete newbs for how to log for the first time?

Do I have to download the most recent release candidate? Can I just plug it into the truck and log?

Open up the V7.5 scan tool. Then go to Help => Tutorials => Scan Tool Tutorial and work through all the steps there.

Ok. I tried connecting with the V7.5 scan tool and it didn't work. Error said to download V8. So I did. Now I'm just going through Ira's tutorial. I did download RC10 too. Thanks Chance.

I have a HUGE problem now (I think). It is almost stuck in the middle of flashing. I'l see if I can get a screenshot but after 23 minutes of flashing i figured there was a problem. There is 4:36 left to be flashed. Now I can't exit the software, it's not timing out and the truck is all screwed up. PLEASE HELP.

After a couple hours of pulling my hair out it closed and I reflashed. So at least I have a running truck right now lol. But when connecting to the scan tool V7.5 an error comes up that I have to update firmware to V8. I've been searching but the only thing that I can come up with updating firmware on the flashscan tool. Sorry for all of these dumb q's and problems.
