View Full Version : Trouble with pid fanspd e38

HI I'm have trouble getting the PID FANSPD_DES= ECU =E38 to work
it is loaded in the v2 but always reads 00 rpm and when i run a log it shows up OK as selected ( not crossed out on the chart ether )
i have the rpm set from 0 to 4000 rpm but it doesent do any thing ????

I don't think it will work on a Holden because we don't use variable speed fans like the US cars.

I WAS under the empresion that the ve had speed controled fans ?
as you can comand fan speed in the tune i thought

where do you command fan speed ????

you sure you are looking at it correctly?

fans are Discrete.. not PWM...

the numbers are just threshold points and if you reach that threshold it turns on that fan state according to temp
