I've got a question about the files that are currently hosted on Tune Depot. Specifically, my question is about the instructions.
For example, there are two tunes for 2007 6.7s one for each transmission type. The instructions above say to match the highlighted portion of the calibration with the calibration field in the ECM.
What happens if this isn't done? I understand if one is going from an auto to a manual (or vice versa), but what if there are different OSes per year? Are all of the calibrations going to be the same per year model or is there the potential to have a different calibration withing a given year model?
I'm curious because, in the GM world, you can essentially flash any OS into a given ECM as long as the OS is from the same ECM type regardless of platform.
