I have been including Dyncyclair_dma (Speed Density) in all my logging.
I am wondering how useful this is in terms of tuning for maximum performance - does optimizing timing and/or fuel make a difference to these numbers.

I notice when the car is going really well at WOT at high revs is when it has the highest numbers eg 6600 and 0.85g/cylinder. If it knocks at all the values drop a bit.

I am wondering if different values of timing will function to increase this value and if this correlates to more power??

What can i log to identify gains in power and torque? I am logging rwkw but its hard to compare as it depends on the road angle etc.

On another topic.
If i was to visit a dyno and hire some dyno time what would be the best way to identify ideal timing and power from what i have now.

That PID is used to track back into your spark maps mainly.

Is the Engine Torque PID the best one for trying to track gains in the performance using the scanner?? Im trying hard to get the car ready for this weekends biggest WSID Drag Meet.

Not in my opinion, it's calculated, not measured.
