BBF Licensing

Can you licence an ecm or tcm
with just the black box when you do bbf ?
or you have to licence with the laptop
and the V8 software before bbf.

You can do it just via the V2, providing you have an up to date firmware and an available licence. When you go to flash a tune it will ask to license the controller if it has not already been done.
