I put a CAI on my friends 2011 CTSV,He's getting P0171 & P0174 now, Fuel trim system lean.What can I do..........Paul

Ok, here is what you can do..

1. Check everything is secure and you have no air leaks. If air is bypassin the MAF you will have leanout codes
2. connect a WB to his car and try to tune just the maf, if it cures the problem fantastic, if the tune isnt cured, then refer back to 1.

That is a vacuum leak. It happens you need to just go back ane reinspect your work. I have a smoke machine or proper term is an emissions tester that I use to find vac leaks. Good luck but that is all it is. I just finished up a 2010 CTS-V, don't be too disappointed in the power. Is it an auto or manual?
