View Full Version : Tried flashing COS3 after successful test, but recieved error "ACCESS DENIED"!

Well I installed the 2-bar MAP and then attempted to flash the COS3 after running a test flash, the "real" flash seemed to be complete but then a window popped up saying that "access denied" more or less. I copied all down but left that note in my vehicle which I am now 3000 miles away. The car starts but runs extremely lean-not driveable!! Barely idles...then dies. Need the COS and have the commercial scan and tune V1. What am I missing? Thanks for any response.

Check that your Windows account has sufficient privilege to write system file (the EFILive software is trying to write the .lbu license file), or log in as Administrator.

Ohhh, that makes sense now. Was a new laptop that I borrowed. Thanks for your help!!!
