For the 2005, put speed limiter up in the search window of the tuner and it will take you to the speed limiter - just max out the mph/kph... For the 2007, the E38 controllers have a tricky catch to them - in the tables for speed limiter, H0156 says it is controlled by "other module", you have to change it to "ECM" and max out mph/kph as for others... hope that helps.

You are using HPTuners software ... post your questions on their website.

In EFILive - follow the instructions in post # 2 by BLK02WS6 - set H0156 to ECM. Then set the numeric value of the Speed Limiter to match your application or tire speed rating.

In HPT change the Speed Limiter "Source" from GMLAN to Calibration.

If you own both softwares - then applicable tuning questions should be posted on their respective websites.
