I have a cust trying to do a read on an 07 5.9l and he's getting a $010a. I'm out of ideas to try, so I'd like some suggestions. Any ideas?

The firmware on the V2/AC is out of date or otherwise does not match the scripts.

They are telling me it's up to date. Maybe a full uninstall and start over is in order.

With all the firmware changes, this is very common problem. There is a very handy document that outlines the error messages and what causes them in the V8 software.
$010A Received data message contained unknown command action
The firmware on the device is out of date
Use the EFILive Control Panel software to update the firmware to the latest version available.
