How do I know what version software my efilive is running and how do I update it if it is old version?

In scantool or tunetool go Help->About.

Do you have FlashScan V1 or V2...?


Updated software can be downloaded/installed from here (http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=133).


If you have V2 there is an involved procedure for updating bootblock and firmware... you first have to tell me your V2 bootblock and firmware versions, these determine how you will update the firmware.

Yes my software is old 7.5.7 (170) I down loaded new software but how do I install it

To install the software your downloaded, just double click on the file and follow the prompts.

I got it all updated. Thank you for the help. And it works I can get my balance rates now
