That message does not mean it is not supported (I don't know if it is or is not supported). It means the controller is most likely locked.
Can you please send the appropriate *.blx trace file as per the explanation at the bottom of this page:
http://support.efilive.com/kb_article.php?ref=8254-QOGC-9586

Send to paul@efilive.com

I have tuned 2011 2500's with E78 ECM's. It didnt have all the tables compared to an E38 but I was able to tune it for the most part.

I think it has E38 not E78

The 2500 series with the 6.0L switched to the E78 ECM in 2011.
EFILive has supported the E78 ECM since August 2010. However, you must read and flash E78 ECM's using V8, not V7.

Cheers,
Ross

Is there any tutorial for using V8 ?

Open it up, click Tune, click Read, right click to select engine controller, click Read. Save file once read is done. Open the V7.5 Tune tool, File->Open tuning file, select the tune you just read and click open. Edit it as you normally would, then save it (make sure it is in the *.ctz format and NOT *.tun). Open V8, click Tune, open the tune file, click cal flash.

7.5 will be slowly being replaced by V8 is my understanding. More and more features are being released to V8. I used V8 all the time, its much faster when your messing with E38 or newer ECM's.

Heck I never use V7.5 to read any more unless a controller isnt supported by V8 (very few arent, it supports all the newer ones anyway) because its faster.

Cant wait for V8 to replace V7.5, V7's been great for a long long time but V8 already has a bunch of features that I like.

Open it up, click Tune, click Read, right click to select engine controller
Or just press "Auto Detect" and it should select whatever ECM or TCM is found on the bus, that way you don't have to worry about what controller type is in the vehicle.

Please try this on your WinXP system:

Go into Widows ‘Control Panel’.
Choose ‘Region and Language’.
On the ‘Formats’ tab choose ‘English (United States)’ format.
On the ‘Location’ tab select ‘United States’.
On the ‘Administrative’ tab click the ‘Change system locale’ button and select ‘English (United States)’.
