When trying to install the latest build on windows 2000 I get a "Not a valid Win32 executable" error. It works fine on Vista, but I run Windows in a VM under Linux, and Vista (and 7) are bloated memory hogs, whereas 2000 has a much smaller memory footprint. Has support for Win2K been discontinued?

Download the .exe file again.

I downloaded it several times. In all cases, a Win 2000 install fails, while installation on Vista was fine using the exact same download.

Here's the md5sum for my download: ddc0a9087c19fa8ea5e72391bb7643b5

I'm guessing the version of the self-extracting installer used is what is incompatible with win2000.

The EFILive software is supported only on Windows XP, Vista and 7 operating systems sorry. Windows 2000 is pretty well unsupported by most vendors these days, being some 12 years old now.
