It is an actual GMPP ECM? If not then I don't think it will work because of the ETC controller in the ECM.

yes its an gmpp os. the ecm is part number 19210737 . the operating system is 19257233, its what they use on their ls3 erod automatic setup.

Sorry, it's still not clear what is required.
1 - Does the ECM have a GMPP sticker on it?
2 - What is currently in it?

Cheers,
Ross

But GMPP ECM's come with a full ready to run program I thought because they assume the end user can't program the ECM, it needs to be turn key.

will 19210737 ecm work with 06 ctsv os

GM part # 19210737 is a refurbished 2008 E67 production ECM - not a GMPP part. These are shipped non-programmed. You will need to use a Tech 2 or similar device to initially program this ECM.

This ECM will accept a 2008 E67 calibration, and some 2007 E67 calibrations - not sure if it will accept a 2006 E67 calibration. Whoever you retain to program the ECM with the Tech 2 should be able to assist you with this.

Also, you mentioned then wanting to flash GMPP OS 19257233 into the ECM. From memory, I believe this calibration is for use with 2009+ setups - if so, this is not compatible with your 2008 ECM.

Depending on what you are attempting to achieve (your posts do not contain much information / details) - it may be a better option to order the appropriate GMPP LS3 E-Rod controller.

If your GM technician says it is compatible with a 2006 CTS-V - then have him give it a try.

what i need is to run a 2006 ctsv os and tune it for my lsx376

As I stated previously - the controller is blank - will need to be programmed via a Tech 2 type device.

Do you own EFILive software ? Or are you just hoping for some no cost DIY advice ?

This website is for users of EFILive software to assist each other with tuning issues. This is not a DIY project website. Given that you will be using the services of a tuner (professional or otherwise), and are not actually the tuner yourself, and don't even own an EFILive interface - I would suggest you resource your tuner to answer your questions.
