Ok, it seems i may be wordin my problem incorrectly

After i start the engine, the commanded fuel holds steads around the high 13s low 14s on the AFR scale. Then for no apparent reason it drops to to 9 and sometims 6.

Where do i control the speed of which the afr goes back to 14.62 or at least control the commanded afr at startup

PLZ someone help, this only happens durin cold startups and not warm

Hi Naf,

Can you post your tune file and some log files.

I think i should also go into injector settings, but am too hesitant to play with unknowns

Found out what my problem was, my Max idle settings were set too low. If your MAF isnt tuned you will have idle issues, however, after i did an open loop Ben factor, my idle needed the extra idle room.

Basically have everything back to stock.

Got fedup and tried a few things before committin to my new tune

Thanks for posting back... do you mean Max Idle Speed or Max Idle Area (1/2)...?

Yes, i return those back to stock and my truck starts and runs properly, w/ or w/o the ac.

The key i have found was tunin the MAF via open loop and runnin a Ben factor. Just remember where you put the o2 sensor. If you put the o2 sensor Precats, then leave your AFR alone, but if its Post cats increase your AFR by 0.15. I have found that is the magic number to keep the trim to a min after you return the afr back to your stock settins.

Also dont forget that tunin the MAF at WOT in open loop is a good idea as well. This way you know you are gettin the proper AFR at WOT
