Brief summary:

Truck has a locked, working, EFI tuned DSP5 ECM in it. Purchased EFI and tunes from same tuner, was planning to load on to a spare ECM so I could make changes.

Acquired spare ECM, installed into truck, no start (I expected this with a different VIN), FULL flashed a stock tune with the correct VIN on it. Still no start.

Ideas?

Good to go! Thanks tokymon!

Even the DSP5 works. Strange though that the VIN is still the original VIN and it works...tried changing it in the scan via bi-directional, but it won't let me...

Not sure why that is, but you may have to flash a stock tune in and then program the vin then flash the dsp5 tune back in.

Well, I got the VIN issue sorted out, but now I face another challenge. The truck immediately sets codes of P0700, U2105 & U2106, all indicating TCM loss of communication or failure, however, I can pull information from the TCM no problem.

Well, I'm an idiot...because this truck has a relocated TCM (elec fans), I have to fight to get the ECM back in and I cut 4 wires on the TCM harness. All is good now!

same problem with corvette, trying to flash in 1250003 op sys for my 3 bar sensor with pro charger on LS1 and reload tune and now V2 keeps telling me no vehicle detected on stock pcm and roadrunner pcm also says status unknown
Can anyone help me?
How can i disable Vats in onboard pcm so V2 will work to install new operating system and tune
Got roadrunner flashed with oper system alone but no won't let me flash in tune, says no roadrunner detected, tried V7.5 and 8 refresh
