No interface cable message

I have had flashscan for quite a while now, and I finally got around to installing it this weekend. I downloaded version 7.3 from the website and I keep getting the following error message:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Strange thing is it actually works for about 10 seconds, then it loses connection and cant re-connect. I have to restart the program to get it to reconnect. I used the usbview program and it looks like the drivers are installed correctly. The CD I have has version 7.18 and it does the same thing when it is installed. When the program is trying to connect, both usb and obd LED flashes on flashscan.<o:p></o:p>

The driver wasnt installed for the cable? IT is on the disk. That is probably the problem. Call me ill walk you thru.

Flashscan driver was installed and USBview program showed the correct id's. When I get home tonight, I'll rerun the error report and post the last 100 lines or so.

I had to delete quite abit of stuff to get under of the 10000 character limit so I could post the report. Most of the stuff I deleted was from the middle of the report. I can email the whole report if that will help.

Can you please try the following steps:

1. Reboot your PC/Laptop
2. Plug the FlashScan cable into your vehicle and PC/laptop
3. Start the EFILive Scan Tool software.
4. Turn the vehicle ignition on.
5. Click the connect button
6. If an error occurs, save the error report and post it in this thread.
