Here's the question:

I have a tune that I made for my brother's gasser 5.3L pickup, and I have a buddy that wants the same tune, but his 5.3L runs a different operating system. Is there a way to export all the parameters from one tune into another operating system, or would I be better off doing a full reflash of the PCM with my brother's OS?

Thanks!
Jeff:thankyou2:

Currently there is no way to copy from one OS to another except to do it physically by hand. You can do a full reflash if you wish just pay attention to the tables from one to the other.

I was hoping we could come up with a small tutorial on building scripts!

The downside to copying tables is that they all interact and in different ways over different operating systems.

ie you might have identical spark tables but the IAT correction multiplier is different , so the total spark winds up being different ( seen a so called expert do this in the LS1edit days on a blown combo - motor was blown in 10 secs :) )
