I have a full stream for the LS1A, B, E40, E38 and basically everything GM makes with a V8 in it. After this last update I for some reason cannot read, flash, or even connect to an LS1 A PCM. I have 4 of them that a customer needs flashed and cannot do anything at all with them. I just did an E38 and 2 LS1B PCM's this morning, but when I try any of these LS1A's I keep getting a bootloader rejected error and a reason is no reply. Is the Firmware not updated properly or is it another issue I am not seeing?

We are investigating the LS1A connectivity issues with the V7 software.
Until we figure out what is happening, you should be able to save your LS1A tun files as *.ctz files and flash them using the V8 software.

What firmware/bootblock, are you running the latest V7.5 and V8 software from EFILive.com?

Got beat, guess using V8 is the way to do it. I try to only flash in V8 if I can help it, the flashes are much quicker for me!

I tried this and converted a cal I have used for a year on these PCM's for TA2 and I get this error code "Script exited with code $06FF: Checksum failure." It comes up at the very end of trying to flash the PCM. When I read the PCM after flashing it and open it up in V7 it appears to have flashed, but want to make sure that the calibration has actually flashed into the PCM as I have never used V8 for anything other than updating.

What is the build version of your V7 and V8 software...?

What is your V2 firmware version...?

Everything has been updated to the newest software and firmware, thus the issue I am having.

After updating did you re-program the BBx config ("Program All")...?

Just tried to read an LS1A PCM after downloading the update and updating firmware and still get the bootloader rejected error.
I have been able to reproduce the fault -again, it appears to be the same fault that was supposed to be fixed in the latest update. It appears the fix did not make it into the update. I'm trying to track down why the fix did not get into the update.

I now have the same issue with the LS1B PCM's, went from trying to fix one issue to creating another.

I alerted Paul to this problem.

V7 seems to fail; V8 and BBR/F seem to be ok.

Latest update fixed LS1B issues, I will check on an LS1A later today to be sure it works with that. Thanks for fixing this issue quickly.

It's not fixed all the way, I can't flash ls1b now but could before update.
