2 newbie questions. I am logging a 1999 old body style classic Chevy C1500, 5.7 vortec, with a Flashscan V2.
1. Using the laptop to log through the V2 using the 7.5 scanning software, I am only getting 2 frames/sec logging in my saved data log. This is slower than the 10 frames/sec my old TPI-era obd1 stuff logs at....why is it so slow? I hope I can log at least 10 frames/sec, 2 is useless. Is there a max # of PIDs I can select to log at a decent speed, and if so, how many?
2. My dash speedo reads 3-4 mph faster than the datalog...I corrected the tune for tire size and the ecm logged speed is accurate but the dash reads 3-4 mph fast. Any idea other than my dash is defective?
Thanks!!! I am pretty computer literate but tuning and logging is always a steep learning curve for me.
