97 cav OS help??

hey guys i am trying to help a guy at work with his 97 cav. 4cyl manual trans, he is doing very well dirt track racing it but wants to get rid of the rev limiter, i read the pcm but an error message came up? the OS is 16259657, any help would be great!!!

Unrecognized PCM... let me ask about that.

Supposedly a 1997 tune from a cavelier is not supported. Efilive only supports 1998-2002. What about swapping in a 1998 cavelier ecm? edit 1997-2002 is supported.

any luck yet, he is racing saturday and needs this done if i can get some help guys. thank you guys for the help so far
