Hope it's the correct section.

LS2 with E40 PCM (it's in a Mazda rx7) looking thro the options it has a shift light does anyone know what pin this in or does it output thro the BCM (which we don't have) ??

Is there a patch to gain proper control of normal/aux fans?

Thanks

Blair

It's not an LS1/LS6, so I moved it... :)

It's a matter of locating a 2005/6 GTO/HSV engine controls wiring diagram...

Thanks Joe I have the wiring diag but can't see it so unless anybody else has any idea's we'll be using an rpm switch to turn the air on off.

What about fan control any inspiration?

Shift light (if the ECM is so programmed) is via Serial Data to the IPC.

There is no operational patch to control the E-Fans via ECT below 192 F. The E-Fans are controlled with respect to ECT, via % PWM in G0901. And similarly in G0902 with respect to A/C pressure.

Low Fan - C1 (Blue) pin 36.
High Fan - C1 (Blue) pin 56.

Ah, shift light is done over the serial bus, that explains why the engine controls wiring diagram shows no control.
