I have a friend who is placing a dc electric motor in Cadillac Escalade and is trying to fool the ecm and to use the auto trans. I want to know if one can use efi live to turn off any codes in ecm etc so it will think every thing is ok. Thanks Ed
Ps Rite now when putting in drive it closes the throtle and goes limp mode.

Yes, you can disable codes, but there is more to it than that... the ECM expects to get valid signals from all the sensors (regardless of codes being turned off for those sensor) from which it performs internal calculations which also have to produce valid values...

also, there is no way of not having a crank reluctor signal since the ECM sync's major event on this;

I don't know anyone who has done this before.
