What the heck happened??

I have updated my software and firmware on my V2 and now it does not recognize my pid selection to monitor my truck. It also does not support DTC checking anymore either. Is there something I have missed? I last updated when I changed my hard drive in my computer about 2 months ago and that is when I started having all the problems with my V2. I just want to be able to monitor my Pids with just the handheld and also to be able to look up DTCs on it again. Any help would be appreciated.

I may also add the reason i have the updated EFI is because my hard drive crashed, I then downloaded the May22 build after new hard drive install on both scan and tune tool software and then updated my V2 with the newer system.

Did you install software V7 build 211 and V8 build 203...?

Did you flash V2 firmware 2.07.35...?


After doing all that, did you re-program the BBx Config into your V2...?

( in V8 S&T software, goto BBx, click Read, click Save (and specify Options.txt), click down-arrow next to Program, click Program All )

I did not do any of the BBX programming. I am attempting it now and it keeps giving me a write failure $0194.

EFILive Error Codes.pdf says $0194 = file system is full

on the BBx, on each of the Scan and Tune tabs, you have to delete the pidlists (Scan) and the controllers (Tune) that are for other than your vehicle...

when you've done that, click Save, then click Format Config File System (click down arrow to get to it), wait for the format to finish, then click Program All.

It worked.. Thanks a million. I will try it out on the truck tomorrow and hope I can monitor the pids and look up DTCs again. Thanks again
