Im having a little trouble with ETC on dyno, where on a dyno run at 5300rpm, it seems to hit a rev limiter. I thought it may have been weak valve springs at first, but if you hold the throttle flat, it shows on the log that it hangs on at about 50% TPS.
Its a VZ Commodore 5.7L. I did a dyno run stock std with MAF sensor, and it actually made 301hp which isnt bad for a stocky SS Auto, bit it hit the wall at 5300.
I put a OTR on it, altered the IAT, altered the tune, and have been over everything.....I think....
The fact that it did it with the AFM still connected tells me it isnt anything to do with going mafless....???
Its like a rev limiter, and I got a helper to watch the throttle blade, and yes it does close to approx 50% even though foot is flat.
I checked ETC rev limiter and maxxed that from 6200 to 12800, and a heap of other things
Is there something simple Im missing?????
