Had to buy a new Latop....install issue

its been a few years since i initially purchased efi live, so im very rusty

My laptop died...but luckily, i could retrieve all my efi files.

however Im trying to re-install efi live onto my new laptop. I downloaded the software, however how do i register it properly again...? Im really lost

When i go to the Help menu and go to V2 autocal licensing, it opens and says The software does not support the V2, and I need a update. However, When i go to update, it just says i have the latest version...

I suppose to need to register it again, but how do i find my information from that?

Hi Brandon,

If your V2 firmware/bootblock versions are old do this:
- install V7 211 and V8 203 from here (http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=133),
- carefully read and understand the attached document;
- if you understand that doc then go ahead and update your V2's bootblock and firmware.
