I'm a little behind the times on the 6.7 trucks. Did we ever get the capabilties to fuel at or above 4000 RPM on manual trucks?

you sure can programming wise, but just make sure you have the hard parts to back it up

Rod ratio on the 6.7 isint favorable for high rpm conditions.

Yes, Fleece has had fueling over 4k.
It's there, might have to work at it, but it's been proven to be there.

Thanks but no offence to fleece or anything else we would rather do in house custom tuning. It will be far from the first cummins we've pushed over 4000 RPM ,but the first 6.7l. So is this way to push it above 4K avaliable in the public release or is it a beta thing? dont really need to know how to do it just if we can do it. Thanks again.

Did you address the rod ratio issue, or just put stronger rods in, in hopes they don't fail?

The motor is using a 5.9 crank, Carrillo rods, as wells as several other internal mods to make durability and rigidity issues minimal

Unfortunately I have been sidetracked on the RPM chase, but from what I recall when testing some OS's didn't play nice and still have hard RPM cuts at 3900 RPM (or there abouts).

any ideas what operating systems were giving the trouble?

I thought that would be the next question , the answer is sorry I don't remember, I'll have to see if I still have on my work computer the files that Brayden was working with and I'll let you know what OS it was.

11551035 worked, doesn't mean others wouldn't either, just that it did.

We continue to work on RPMs in testing. Today the 6.7 finally broke the 4,000 RPM barrier hitting 4,166 RPM. Pics to follow

4000 RPM's on a stock ECM 6.7 has officially been broken.
This is running a manual file on a 47RH.
Here is the actual pull to 4200 RPM's. This wasn't a hard pull, I simply rolled into the throttle in first gear and took it up to 4200 RPM's.
The light you see come on is a MIL for torque management. I simply need to extend the torque limiting table out beyond 4200 RPM's and we'll be all set.
Tomorrow she's gonna get a workout.

is this kind of thing only possible through a manual trans or can an auto 6.7 be able to go to 4000 too?
