05 6.0/LQ4/H2 Hummer.
Hdw # 12589162
OS # 12592618

I am ready to start tuning, using Calc.Vet. I have changed injectors to LS2, pt # 0280158049.
My inj flow test @ 58psi indicates a flow rate of 32.13PPH. I am using a vac referenced reg so the IFR is set at a single value.
So far, I see that the min pulse on the stock inj is 0.757867, and is a constant value.
From what I can find on the 049 inj is a scaled table, 1.000 up to 1530rpm, then at 2040 it is 1.1484. After that, and for the remainder of the scale, [8190rpm], it is 1.2969.
Since I have the LS1B PCM, and the min pulse values I listed are from an E40,[2005 Vette], would they be OK to use??
I am thinking I also need to correct the offset values. Y/N??

I have the Calc.Vet tun set up. Would someone be willing to give it, and the current tune, a look see B4 I loaded it?

Ok, manifold referenced FPR is good :cheers:

You can use the LS2 injector tables from the E40, you may have to make them fit if the LS1 table axis is different.

Yes post your tune file and post the LS2/E40 file that matches those injectors.

No. The 4 12 is what's in the car now.
I did the Calc vet tune from the tutorial, [and your help]. [Sept 2011]. Never have loaded it to see if it will work.
Since I wrote the Calc vet tune, I've worked with trans shift, converter lock, idle speeds, etc, but no tweaks of the VE and MAF. [DFE may have made a couple tweaks to the VE.]
Do I have to start over & make a current tune, by making changes to the Calc vet tune
The car runs/starts Ok. But, I'm seeing high LTFT's. +16-19%.

Chuck, if you see LTFT's ranging like you will have to redo Calc.VET since something has changed with this setup compared to previous.

From the LS2/E40 file you need to copy these tables into your LS1 file:

B1201 -> B4006
B1203 -> B4003
B1204 -> B4005
B1210 -> B3701

B1214 -> B4002 (these are already equal)

B4001[0 kPa] -> B4001[all cells] <-- since you have a manifold-referenced FPR (is that correct...?)

Joe, thanks for the help. Yes, the FPR is vac referenced.

Chuck, if you see LTFT's ranging like you will have to redo Calc.VET since something has changed with this setup compared to previous.

Not sure what you mean. Should I rewrite the Calc vet program, using the latest tune that's in the car, now??

You can relog the Calc.VET...

you don't have to disable the VE (by setting zero in B0120) as long as you apply the transient filter before applying the maps to the VE and MAF tables.
