Hope i'm posting this in the right place for help with loading my tune. I have a 2002 GMC Sierra that I have been attempting load a tune on. The tune was written by Rob at ATP Trucks and emailed to me. I then loaded the tune onto my autocal. I have all the updated software on my computer. When I try to load the tune onto my truck my autocal give me a message "Bad serial number". I then get an error code of 0534. At first i thought maybe i was doing something wrong but Dustin at ATP Trucks was kind enough to remotely log into my computer and check everything out for me. Dustin stated he believes there may be an issue with EFI Live, and recommended contacting EFI Live.

I have previously had EFI live on my truck and it loaded flawlessly. I was attempting to load an updated tune when i suddenly had this problem. I Any help is appreciated, i'd really like to get my truck straightened out!

Thank you, Adam Green.

I probably should add that my truck had never had a tune previous to EFI Live, and that I have absolutely no aftermarket electronics installed inside the vehicle other than a brake controller for my trailer. Any help is appreciated.

The early LB7 ECM's have a nasty habit of getting corrupted easily and end up appearing locked.
Is the truck running ok otherwise?

The truck starts and runs great. It gets great gas mileage and I haven't had any problems with the truck. Is there anything I should try such as unhooking the batteries or taking out the PCM for a certain amount of time?

Are you running the DSP5 version of the 15186006 OS ??

The earlier OS's are not the best option for the 2002 model years
