4l60e with 3000 TCI stall makes noise in 4th gear going into lockup like maybe it is slipping bad if you stay in throttle it will fully lock and noise goes away. Car has 389 gears stock bottom end with Trick Flow heads and cam package etc. 430 rwhp 400 ft/lbs at tires. Misfires turned off etc. also worked a little with PWM change and did some changes with TCC lockup speed vers TP did help some but still there. Any help would be great!!

What year/model/vehicle, what PCM/ECM/TCM...?

If you have a PCM or a T42, then try setting the TCC minimum pressure table to some high values (e.g. look at the TCC maximum pressure table), and see if this stops it from slipping.

Did it just start happening or was it always there...?

If it just started happening, then it is a physical problem.

The TCI converter is garbage......Summit Racing special...

we've had nothing but problems with that converter and only use Coan and Precision...

Anyone else having issues with TCI converters? The noise has been there since install and tune was done. A note for everyone TCI is no help they know nothing on tuning for converters.
