View Full Version : $0185 error code after recent update....????

so i just updated the firmware for everything and now im trying to follow the last step to finalize the update.... ( special instructions below the v8 update ) i have selected the f5 command and i select the read button but i get an $0185 error...file not found message. What did i or am i doing wrong?

Ok, skip the read...

on the BBx Scan page, edit/create pidlists for your PCM/ECM/TCM modules, delete all others;
on the BBx Tune page, edit/create entries for your PCM/ECM/TCM modules, delete all others;
click Save (and save as Options.txt);
click Program All (found by first clicking the down arrow next to Program).

Thanks Alot.....

now i just have to figure out how to do that part. Is there a step by step link anywhere? I am completely computer stupid.....sorry.

when i go into EE and select format config im asked "all configuration data on selected device will be erased " continue.... is that what i need to do?

sorry for noob questionsYes, just go ahead and do that...

then you have to create your BBX/Scan pidlists and BBX/Tune PCM list, Save it (to PC) and Program (downarrow->Program All).
