Hi All,

Let me introduce myself by saying I'm a noob in this area, so please correct me where you see fit. I just ordered my Procharger for my G8 GT (which currently has headers & is cat-less - plus other non engine mods). I have recently started doing road courses and I've fallen in love with doing them. In my area (Seattle/King County) we also have emissions testing and a flex fuel sticker + e85 should help me pass. I would like to switch to e85 to run less boost and still maintain 500 - 550 rwhp.

Enough with the why's, onto what I would like to do. I have read in these forums several different threads that talk about running the ethanol sensor and EFI Live to correctly tune it. I know I can do two different tunes, but being able to have it just work with whatever, would be awesome and well worth the 600 dollar price for the sensor.

So, with that, I'm looking for a tuner in the Seattle Area (I'm in Redmond) that understands firstly, doing an e85 tune for the L76 with a FI, and secondly, willing to do the sensor setup. I need someone who knows if my pump can push the 65lb injectors I ordered and willing to take the time to do this right. It would be great if they were also capable of tuning the transmission correctly (which seems to be rare).

Is there a right up about installing the ethanol sensor?
Part numbers for the sensor or who sells it?
Tuner recommendations in the Seattle area?
Fuel pump upgrade I should get (if needed)?

Thanks for the help, this is all new to me. Trying to do my home work here.

I've been doing a bunch of research on this and picked out a tuner who is interested in tackling this project. I found the sensor and pig-tail I was planning on using, plus the EFILive information for enabling it in the e38 PCM. Of course, I would love to claim to be the first G8 GT owner to have done this, but I would prefer to find a write up from someone who has successfully completed this.

Sensor: http://ttp-engineering.com/catalog/e...260-p-427.html
EFILive Info: http://forum.efilive.com/showthread....l=1#post116612

Can anyone confirm what I have here or prove this will or will not work?

I didn't see the post you sent before. Now I am wondering if the Flex Fuel sensor I purchased is incorrect... lol Hope not.
